Carroll studied John Wooden’s (Legendary UCLA Basketball Coach) Pyramid of Success and he began to reflect first on his own individual philosophy (what was important to him and why), and came up with his own pyramid of success. Coach Carroll’s philosophy, First, “do things better than they have ever been done before…” became the cornerstone and foundation to his success pyramid and everything else was built on top of that.

Second, Every play, every practice, every drill, and every game, Coach Pete and his team are always striving to do things better than they have done before; They are all in.
